Police officer shoots and wounds person in Middelburg city center
A police officer shot and wounded a person at about 9:25 p.m. Saturday on the Simpelhuisstraat in central Middelburg, Zeeland, Omroep Zeeland reports. The victim was transported to a hospital by ambulance. Authorities have not released details on the identity of the person or the cause of the shooting.
