French transport unions announce strikes and protests in October and November

PARIS – Several French trade unions representing workers in the transport sector have announced strikes and other industrial action for October and November. Employees in road transport and at French ports are among those being called upon to take action. It is not yet clear how the various protests and strikes will affect freight transport in France.

Hajar (29) was presumably killed in Buitenveldert anti-squat property

The 29-year-old Hajar was presumably killed in a former school building on De Klencke, a street near De Boelelaan in Amsterdam-Buitenveldert. Police conducted a major investigation inside the building on Wednesday.
