Story time. The other day, I innocently wandered into the local bookshop in Riessen to see what was new. One yellow book about culture screamed ‘pick me’ from the display stand. As I stood there reading the blurb, the bookshop’s clerk happened to walk past, looked at me and said: “I don’t think this book is for you.” I asked her why not. She replied: “Because this is the English section.”
