Students with international ambitions critical of UU’s withdrawal from THE ranking
When UU announced its withdrawal from the Times Higher Education ranking (THE), citing a wish to move away from a logic of scores and competition, most reactions on social media were positive. But some students were taken aback. They fear that their diploma from UU is going to lose value abroad, which could jeopardise work and immigration opportunities in other countries.
