Italians at UU grapple with yet another far-right government

Italian students at Utrecht University have watched helplessly as their country descends, once again, into the hands of far-right politicians. Now that Giorgia Meloni is prime minister, they feel even more disconnected from their country. They share their thoughts on the current political situation and tell us how it feels to leave the country behind in such times: “If the situation does not improve, I will probably stay abroad.”
