‘I didn’t understand my own graduation ceremony’
Victoria Bluriot, a graduate of English Language and Culture, felt deprived of her graduation ceremony, an occasion that was supposed to be special. “I couldn’t understand most of it. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement,” she says. To her, this was the culmination of an academic experience that was less anglophone than she had anticipated.
