How graduation feels different for international Bachelor's students
Many countries celebrate graduation in a grandiose way, with caps, gowns, and valedictorians. The Netherlands takes a more relaxed approach: a handshake, coffee, and your diploma handed to you in a classroom. DUB’s intern, Meltem, just graduated with her bachelor’s in Literary Studies, and was a little disappointed. She found out that she is not the only international student feeling this way.
