EU guidelines on the definition of AI

The European Commission published guidelines on the definition of 'AI systems', explaining the practical application of the legal concept, as anchored in the AI Act. By issuing guidelines, the Commission aims to assist stakeholders in determining whether a software system constitutes an AI system to facilitate the effective application of the AI Act.
