Nintendo heeft tijdens de afgelopen Nintendo Direct de officiële naam van de sequel op The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild onthuld. De nieuwe game heet The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom en komt op 12 mei 2023 uit.
