Lies of P: Overture Video Review
Lies of P: Overture reviewed by Travis Northup on PC. Also available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.Overture is a prequel DLC that simply provides more Lies of P, and that’s an extremely good thing. The new areas are largely a breath of fresh air, and the added enemy types inject even more variety into a world that was already pretty well-stocked with things trying their absolute best to murder your puppet face. There isn’t much in the way of surprising ideas or interesting new mechanics, but having a fresh set of formidable bosses to take down is compelling enough in its own right, with some of them standing amongst the most exciting encounters that can be found in Lies of P. Couple those with a fully-featured story that’s every bit as satisfying as the original, and this is one creepy puppet show I’m glad to revisit.
