Bethesda Thought It Was 'Infallible' Until Fallout 76 Came Along - IGN Daily Fix
In today's Daily Fix:Bethesda thought it was "infallible," according to a former employee. The developer had a string of Game-of-the-Year-level hits with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Fallout 4. Then came Fallout 76, which launched with tons of bugs and tepid reviews that caused some of the fanbase to turn on them. Fallout 76 has had a bit of a redemption arc over the past few years, with meaningful content updates and patches. In other news, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1 is out and the Switch version is coming under increased scrutiny. Not because of any egregious performance issues, but that the physical version doesn't even come with all the games-the actual Metal Gear Solid titles need to be downloaded separately. Yes, that means the 8-bit games are the only ones actually on that Switch cart. In comparison, CD Projekt somehow fit ALL of the Witcher 3 AND its DLC on its Switch cart.Presented by Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
