Video: Queen Máxima marks Hema’s 100th Birthday in Amsterdam
Queen Máxima visited Hema on Thursday to mark the Dutch chain’s 100th birthday. Years ago, it used to be unclear if the chain would reach that age, as in 2020 Hema was overwhelmed with debts of over 750 million euros. According to an official statement from Het Koninklijk Huis, she visited Hema's design studio as well as the store near the headquarters in Amsterdam.
