Residents in Amsterdam-Oost feel deeply concerned over shelter for young offenders

Residents living near the Boomerang Zorg shelter on Wagenaarstraat in Amsterdam-Oost, home mostly to young offenders, are deeply concerned, particularly following a shooting. The district board, Boomerang Zorg and housing association Ymere say they understand the concerns, but the facility will remain open.
