Indian restaurants in Centrum and Zuid shut down over suspected labor exploitation and human smuggling

Mayor Femke Halsema closed two Indian restaurants on Monday evening. The Netherlands Labor Authority is investigating labor exploitation and human smuggling at the venues, which may have taken place for seven years.
