In Memoriam: Flip Jonkman, the man from Heino (NL) who never forgot his village

With the passing of Flip Jonkman, Heino has lost a distinctive and deeply committed member of its community. A man who devoted himself in many ways to his surroundings: to music, to the history of Heino, to local associations and, above all, to the people around him. Flip was someone who believed that when something truly mattered to you, you should do something about it.
