Hilversum has a new museum with Huis Sloëtjes

The Sloëtjes House at JP Coenstraat 80 looks like an ordinary terraced house, but it's not. Step inside and you're transported back to the 1950s with its fully authentic furnishings and furniture. Complete with a Bakelite telephone, Tomado wall shelves, and Dinky Toys. A feast for the eyes for those over sixty, while younger visitors are captivated by this world of peace, cleanliness, and order.
