Feyenoord won the away match against SC Cambuur 2-5. After a difficult start, the Rotterdam side created a decisive lead before halftime by scoring four times. In the second half, Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team played considerably less convincingly and Cambuur scored twice. The victory was overshadowed by a shameful fireworks incident from the Feyenoord supporters’ section.
