Residents push back against waste boat moored in the heart of Amsterdam: ‘All day you hear the constant clinking of glass – and that’s before we even get to the smell’
Since June 1, the waste collection boat has been moored along the Singel near the Negen Straatjes. Some neighbours say the nuisance is manageable; others are fighting it hard. ‘Nobody wants this in their front or back yard.’
